At first glance it appears as just another NLE from the bunch. In fact, the user base appears to be quite small. Once you dig around a bit and look at some of the tutorials, the superiority over other systems makes itself evident.
There is not such a thing as the best NLE ever. Vegas Video has the speed, flexibility and agility (redundant I know), FCP has stability (stick to Intra), Media composer seems to have integration and long-format support (full length movies), Premiere has CUDA, Lightworks has no cost, and then there is Edius.
Grass Valley certainly has captured my attention.
